This is my favourite breakfast. For Valentines day, I use a heartshaped wafflemaker, to surprise my love. The rest of the year, it is just regular shaped waffles, no less delicious.

Ingredients
- 50 grams of buckwheat flour
- 200 grams of greek yoghurt, or for a vegan waffle coconut yoghurt
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 100 grams of frozen red fruit, like blueberries and raspberries
- 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
Instructions
- mix the yoghurt with the eggs
- add the flour, the baking powder and the cinnamon
- put the frozen fruit in a saucepan and add maple syrup or honey, heat gently until warm
- bake waffles of the mixture. For a romantic breakfast, use a heartshaped wafflemaker, like in the picture
- serve waffles with fruit mixture on top. You can add some powdered sugar, if you like. Nice, but less healthy…:)
